Bicycle spoke lock The invention relates to an improvement in the
Fastening of known bicycle spoke locks in the form of a housing that
a. to prevent unauthorized unscrewing of the lock. In the known 'versions
the actual lock is covered by a protective hood, which only serves the purpose
fulfilled to cover the fastening screws, and only in the open position of the
Lock allows loosening of the fastening screw.
The invention achieves the same purpose by eliminating the protective hood
in a simpler way.
angedeutet.
The essence of the invention is that the fastening screws
of the lock are provided with millings on which the side edges of the
Slide the locking bolt past when closing. As a result, these screws can
not rotated and therefore not removed, as the rotation of the screws through
the adjoining bolt is prevented. Will oppose it with the right key
the bolt is pushed back, so give the provided in the open position of the bolt
round millings free the screws so that they can be retightened or removed
can be. The lock is thus completely secured in the closed position
and can only be unscrewed in the open position. In the drawing is an embodiment
of the invention shown. 'Fig. I shows the type of fastening in a side view
such a lock, which is attached to the bicycle fork g. In fig.
i can be seen the housing c, the mounting bracket d with four screws
f may be attached, and the latch e. The screws f are on the one on the latch
milled in on the adjacent side, as shown in Fig. 2. Milling a is there
indicated. The Fig.3 shows the open position of the bolt g. In this
Position correspond to the position of the screws f - semicircular millings in the transom,
so that the screws f can either be tightened or removed completely without further ado
to be able to remove the lock. In Fig. Q. eats the closed position
of the bolt shown. In this position the notches have shifted,
so that they no longer face the recesses in the screws. Consequently
the screws f cannot be turned because the notches are located on a
Place an attempt to turn against the bolt and thus prevent the rotation. In this
In this position, the lock is completely secured against unauthorized interference.
