Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß am oberen Ende der elastischen Spannform zickzackförmige o. dgl. Einkerbungen angeordnet sind. Der Vorteil gegenüber dem Bekannten besteht darin, daß der Strumpfspanner nur aus einem Stück besteht und daß ohne die Verwendung besonderer Haltevorrichtungen doch das richtige Längs- und Querspannen des Strumpfes bei unverrückbarem Festhalten auf der Form erreicht wird.
