Der Schleppkörper wird auf beiden Seiten so durch die Walzen geführt, daß er rückwärts abgelassen wird. An den entgegengesetzt zueinanderliegenden Enden der Walzen sind Rillen g angebracht, in denen entsprechend geformte Versteifungen h des Stoffes des Schleppkörpers laufen, wodurch eine einwandfreie Führung beim Ablassen gewährleistet wird. Ein am Flugzeugkörper drehbar angebrachter Stab i, an dem das Schleppseil k befestigt ist, dient zu dessen stoßfreier Ablassung. Die Abb. i zeigt diesen Stab in zwei Lagen. Mit i ist der Stab und mit k das Seil bei Beginn und mit i und k' der Stab bzw. das Schleppseil bei Beendigung der Ablassung des Schleppkörpers bezeichnet.
