Thermal Peak Consumption Meter The invention relates to a thermal
Maximum consumption meter as it is used in electrical consumption systems,
the average maximum, vert
of consumption. There are facilities of this type are known in which a
bimetallic element heated by the consumption stream is provided, its spatial
Expansion serves to bring a pointer back to deflection. Here it is
necessary to arrange a second element that is only heated by the outside temperature,
: that cooperates with the former in such a way that changes in outside temperature
have no influence on the display. The measuring arrangement must be considerable

the Bi.metallelemente either have the shape of a straight or kinked rod
or the shape of a spiral. The former have the advantage that the
Heating can be done indirectly without difficulty by using the rod-shaped
Bimetal element through a special heating element through which the consumption current flows
is heated. The disadvantage, however, is that the transfer of the difference in movements
both bi, metal elements on a rotatable pointer a relatively complicated
Transmission, e.g. B. a differential gear requires. This disadvantage does not exist
in the designs of the second type, since it is possible here to use both bimetal elements
in the opposite sense directly on the axis of the rotatable display element
let it take effect. In the known designs of this type, one of the two
Bimetallel.ementen immediately flowed through by the consumption current, which results in
has that these devices have a time constant that is much too low for the
practically required Ragvstrierperiaden of to to 1s minutes is far away.
According to the invention, the arrangement is now made so that the one
of the two spiral-shaped bimetal elements in an indirect way through a special,
heating element through which the consumption current flows is heated. This will be special
Means applied to the heat developed by the heating element as possible from .dem
second bimetal element, which should only be exposed to the outside temperature, to keep away
and at the same time the heated bimetal element the greatest possible thermal inertia
to lend .. According to our invention, the heated bimetal element
enclosed in a special housing which also includes the heating element.
In den Abbildungen ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel :der Erfindung dargestellt;
