Description
Tilting Device for Mine Cars The invention relates to a tilting device for mine cars and consists in the fact that the tilting frame is transverse to the track system is movable to both sides, and that can be tilted to both sides. This device makes it possible at any point, be it directly next to one or the other track or further away from the tracks, for example in a face or in a funnel connected to a slide, to tip the mine car and empty it, with the empty car on any one the adjacent tracks can be withdrawn.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated, for example, in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a plan view, Fig. A shows a section and Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment in plan.
The device consists of two parallel U-irons a, which are firmly connected to each other by struts b or other connecting pieces. The flanges of the U-irons face each other so that the wheels c of a carriage d rest in the U-irons. The base plate of a fine tilting frame rests on support rollers e on the carriage d. The base plate is provided in a known manner with rails or guide iron g for the wheels of the mine car and with stops or angles that cross the car wheels and hold the mine car on the base plate when it is tipped. The base plate is designed in such a way that tilting to both sides is possible, the brackets i, on which the rod k of the base plate rests in the tilting end position, can be set up at any required point. The U-iron guides a consist of several parts attached to one another in order to be able to lengthen or shorten them according to the required length. The connection can be made by tabs, or the individual parts can be displaced relative to one another and can be locked in any position. By adjusting and lengthening the track for the tilting underframe can be laid over several adjacent tracks and over them. The U-irons are secured in a suitable manner against shifting on the tracks. To drive the mine car onto the base plate f, a bridge or drive-up track i laid from the actual track on the carriage base is used; an identical bridge is also used on the drive-up side. The carriage d is limited in its running movement by an adjustable stop m, for which purpose closely adjacent holes za or other devices are provided in the flanges of the U-iron. As soon as the mine car has been driven up, the tilting frame can be moved to any point, and the emptied '' Vagen can then be pulled off any track, and the recovery car can also be picked up from any track.
In the arrangement according to Fig. 3, instead of the U-irons a flat plates are used o arranged, which also consist of juxtaposed parts and in suitable Way are connected. The wheels c of the car approx are here provided with wheel flanges for guidance, and the wheel axles are cranked downwards, in order to be able to lay the base plate f as low as possible.
The track for the tilting frame can also be inclined to one side so that the carriage d automatically returns to after emptying the pit truck runs back to the track on which the carriage is to be driven, with the Running of the tilting frame through a stop inserted at the appropriate point m is limited.
Instead of the trough-shaped base plate on castors also. a flat or level base plate can be used, which can be tilted on a Cutting edge or the like rests. The tilting frame can be placed on the carriage d in a suitable manner, for example, by automatically engaging latches, can be secured to prevent an unintentional To prevent tipping.
