Selbsttätige Waagen, nach meinem Patent No. 42945 gebaut, erfordern einen Kübel zur Getreideaufnahme mit zwei Kammern A und B für abwechselnde Füllung. Die gemeinschaftliche Verschlufsklappe C derselben ist in jeder ihrer beiden Lagen durch einen Haken D und E festgehalten, welcher ausgelöst wird, sobald der Kübel niederstöfst. Da die einseitige Belastung den Kübel unter seinem Aufhängungspunkte schief stellt, so stöfst derselbe beim Niedergang jedesmal den Haken der gefüllten Seite des Kübels auf, indessen der andere Haken in schliefsender Lage verbleibt und die vom ausfliefsenden Getreide ihm zugeworfene Klappe sofort sperrt. Dieser wechselweise Fang der Klappe zum Verschlufs an A oder B vollzieht sich also mit jedesmaligem Aufstofs des Kübels. Damit nun der Kübel nach empfangener richtiger Füllung zur Selbstentleerung niederstöfst, ist ein zweiarmiger Hebel am Gestell der Waage auf einer Schneide gelagert. Derselbe wird durch die Schraube G ins Gleichgewicht eingestellt. Auf diesem Hebel ruht, über dem Stützpunkt des Hebels mit einer Rolle gestützt, ein Gewicht H. In dem Augenblick, in welchem der Hauptwägebalken horizontal einspielt, also Vollgewicht erreicht ist, hat ein Stift J am Kübel den Hebel so viel niedergedrückt, dafs das Gewicht H nach J überrollt und der Hebel auf den Stift K schlägt und den Kübel dadurch zum Sinken bringt, während nach Entleerung des Kübels Hebel und Gewicht in die gezeichnete Lage zurückkehren.Automatic scales, based on my patent no. 42945 built, require a bucket to hold grain with two chambers A and B for alternating filling.
