Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung brauner Färbungen auf Celluloseestern und. -äthern Es ist bekannt, Acetatseide mit löslichen oder unlöslichen Nitrodiarylaminen zu färben. Es ist nun gefunden worden, daß eine bestimmte Gruppe von Nitroarylaminodiarylaminen von den nachstehend angegebenen allgemeinen Formeln kräftige, in den meisten Fällen braune Färbungen auf Acetylcellulose ergeben: In Formel t bedeuten zwei X Nitrogruppen, das dritte X eine Carboxylgruppe. In Formel z stellen zwei X Nitrogruppen, das dritte X einen beliebigen Substituentendar. Freie Sulfogruppen sollen in der Formel ausgeschlossen sein. Daneben können die Farbstoffe noch andere Gruppen, wie beispielsweise OH, NH2, CH3 usw., enthalten. Es war in keiner Weise vorauszusehen, daß diese Farbstoffe kräftige Färbungen auf Acetylcellulose ergeben würden, besonders deshalb nicht, weil die analogen Farbstoffe ohne eine Carboxylgruppe nicht oder praktisch unbrauchbar auf Acetatseide ziehen.It has now been found that a certain group of nitroarylaminodiarylamines of the general formulas given below give strong, in most cases brown colorations on acetylcellulose: In formula t, two X denote nitro groups, the third X denote a carboxyl group. B e i s p i e l e. z. = kg Acetatseide wird in einem Färbebade, welches -zo g des Farbstoffes enthält, in der üblichen Weise mit oder ohne Zusatz von Salzen oder Säuren oder Schutzkolloiden 3/4 bis z Stunde lang bei 6o bis 7o° C gefärbt. Die erhaltene kräftige rotbraune Färbung besitzt gute Echtheitseigenschaften. 2. r kg Acetatseide wird in der im Beispiel t beschriebenen Weise mit 20 g des Farbstoffes gefärbt.
