United gas and water valve for bath stoves The invention relates to
refer to such gas and water valves for bath stoves and other hot water heaters,
in which the gas line leading directly to the burner only passes through the incoming gas line
Fresh water is released.
Currently gas and water valves of this type are only in execution
known that the gas passage is blocked twice, once by a
Valve that is released by the action of the water flowing into the fresh water extraction point
is lifted from its seat and the second time by a tap that controls the opening movement
is unlocked by the open valve.
steht.Because the gas passage after the burner is only unlocked by opening the
Gas tap is released, the use of the gas valve itself is pointless and
only necessary because the lock for the gas tap is in connection with the gas valve
stands.
Such inconveniences are eliminated according to the invention,
that the water chamber has a water inlet tap with staggered passages
is connected upstream, which is shut off by the closed ignition valve, and the gas valve
in such connection with a piston-like plate arranged in the water chamber
it says that when cold water is withdrawn, the gas valve is removed from the water flowing through
Water is pressed against its seat by means of the plate when moving
of the upstream tap on the other hand, the fresh water in the opposite sense
acts on the plate of the water chamber and opens the gas valve.
Gasdurchlaß, Abb. a eine Draufsicht von Abb. z .The invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing.

Gas passage, Fig. A is a plan view of Fig.
In
The valve housing a is divided by the partition a 'into two cylindrical spaces b, b' , of which space b is to be regarded as a gas space and b 'as a water space. The cover-like connector d is connected to the gas supply line, whereas the water supply line is connected to the connector g. The housing a or the space b 'of the housing is preceded by a smaller housing a "in the form of a tap, the hollow-shaped plug h of which is open in the direction of the fresh water supply line and, offset from one another in different planes, has passage openings h', h" which depending on the setting of the handle k either the fresh water passage is released to the upper part of the space b 'or to its lower part. In the space b 'a plate n connected to the gas passage valve i by the rod m is held in a longitudinally displaceable manner, which is located between the two water passages h', h "when the gas valve i is closed If the extraction valve located on the hot water heater is opened, the fresh water takes its way through the hollow tap plug there and through the plug opening h 'to the upper part of the room b', from which the water flows through the opening p to the water coil or the hot water heater. The cock r leading to the ignition line is connected to the gas space and can be opened and closed by means of the hand lever S. This lever s engages with a laterally protruding pin t in a corresponding opening u of a tab v attached to the lever k, which protrudes into the plane of the lever s. Since the plugs of both taps r and a "are not arranged coaxially to one another, but in different levels, both levers k, s describe a different circular path, so that the cock h can only be opened when the cock r for the ignition cable is open. If the lever k is blocked by the lever s (see Fig. 2), the water passage from the plug h to the upper part of the space b 'is opened, and fresh water can flow through to the hot water heater after opening the corresponding inlet or outlet valve . If, on the other hand, the lever k is pivoted in the same direction after the ignition valve r has been opened, the passage h # closes and the passage h "comes into contact with the lower part of the space b ', so that the plate n is now under the The pressure of the inflowing fresh water is displaced beyond the passage opening p and the gas inlet valve i connected to it is thereby lifted from the seat, so the gas passage is opened under the influence of the inflowing fresh water.
