Injection carburetor The invention relates to a further embodiment
of the subject matter of the main patent 5o4607. The subject of the main patent forms
a spray carburetor equipped with a slide for changing the mixing cross-section,
in which the fuel supply line together with one of the fuel supply cross-section
Depending on the slide movement, regulating fuel needle in the slide itself
and a guide body used for direct adjustment of the fuel needle
is arranged with an inclined plane in the valve housing. Further training
of the subject matter of the main patent is, according to the present invention,
that the fuel needle is provided with a collar and is under spring pressure
is slidably arranged in a bore of the slide, which through a channel with
the line leading to the engine cylinder is in communication, so that the fuel needle,
as soon as a negative pressure arises in the said line, contrary to the effect of the
Spring lifted from its seat and in positive connection with the crooked one
Control plane is brought. The training according to the invention prevents
that the gasoline from the fuel outlet opening of the when the engine is at a standstill
Valve runs out. It should be noted that it is known per se, the fuel needle
only under the effect of the negative pressure occurring during engine operation into non-positive
Connection with a control element which determines the opening of the fuel valve
bring to. The present invention therefore relates only to the above
marked design of the subject matter of the main patent through which the application
of the thought, the fuel needle only under the effect of when the engine is running
to bring occurring negative pressure with their control organ in connection with a
gasifier is made possible according to the main patent.
The subject of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example,
namely Fig. i shows a longitudinal section through the carburetor according to the invention.
i darstellt.Fig. 2 shows the slide with the needle valve on an enlarged scale
drawn out for itself, while Fig. 3 is a section along the line A-B of Fig.
i represents.
Steuerfläche i i gelegt wird.
Schieber 2 gesteuerten Verbrennungsluft stattfindet.
In the figures, i denotes the carburetor housing in which
the slide 2 is slidably mounted. The fuel supply line is on the slide 2
connected,
from which the fuel enters a channel 3 of the slide
2 arrives. At the end of the channel 3 there is a valve seat q. With a needle valve
5 cooperates. The needle valve s is under the action of a spring 6, the
presses against a piston-like collar 7 of the needle valve 5 and consequently the
When the engine is at a standstill, the needle valve is firmly on the valve seat q. presses so that
no fuel can escape from line 3. The spring 6 and the piston 7 are
arranged in a cylindrical bore 8 of the slide 2. The hole 8 is
through a channel 9 with the line io leading to the engine cylinder in connection.
As soon as a negative pressure occurs inside the line io during the suction stroke of the motor,
this negative pressure is planted through the line 9 into the room. 8 continues and causes
that the rear end of the needle 5, overcoming the spring force 6 against the incline
Control surface i i is placed. Depending on the position of the slide: 2 opposite the
Area i i lets needle valve 5 through a more or less large amount of fuel
the line 12 enter the space 13, where the mixture with the also through the
Slide 2 controlled combustion air takes place. As from the description above
As can be seen, the needle valve 5 only allows fuel during operation: the engine
exit the carburetor, the amount of fuel depending on the position of the needle
5 depends on the inclined control surface, while the needle 5 at a standstill
of the motor by the spring 6 permanently against its seat q. is pressed so that no
Fuel can escape, regardless of which position the slide 2 assumes.
