Abstract

Method for coating a substrate with a diffusion layer comprises using a diffusion layer produced by galvanic deposition of a chromium layer on a metallic intermediate layer arranged on the substrate and thermally treating. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Diffusion-coated substrate produced by the above method; (2) Workpiece or component with the above substrate; and (3) Diffusion layer produced by the above method.
