Abstract

Circular saw comprises a saw blade rotatably mounted on a support construction and an adjustable splitting wedge fixed on a spacer (4) and adjusted by the spacer relative to the support construction in the plane of the saw blade. The spacer has a first (13) and a second adjusting component (14) and an adjusting mechanism (15). The adjusting components have steep planes (16, 17) that are arranged against each other. Parallel adjustment of the splitting wedge is carried out by displacing the steep planes relative to each other. An independent claim is also included for an alternative circular saw.
