The invention relates to a parabolic antenna which is used to receive or send electromagnetic waves, especially for receiving radio and television programmes, comprising a parabolic reflector (5) provided with an outer edge (4) and a detector (6) or radiator (6) arranged in the focal point of the parabolic reflector (5). The parabolic reflector (5) is enlarged on the external edge thereof (4) over the entire periphery or one part of the periphery by a single-pieced attachment (1) or one attachment made of several individual attachment elements (2).
