Abstract

The aim of the invention is to create a device for guiding machine elements (2) along a guideway (8), especially a rail, chain or cable, which is improved by the provision of a simple construction and a protection against overloading. To these ends, a detent connection having at least one detent element (12, 13) is provided on the machine elements (2). Said detent connection is arranged between the machine element (2) and a guide element (20) that engages inside the guideway (8), whereby the detent element(s) (12, 13) positively engage(s) inside recesses (10, 11) located on the machine element (2).
