Process for the preparation of polyazo dyes It has been found
that dyes that are obtained when one benzidine sulfonic or carboxylic acids and
their derivatives with 2 mol. Of further diazotizable - components of benzene or
Naphthalene series combined, further diazotized and with sulfonic acids of the 2. 8-aminonaphthol,
its arylated in the amino group or its sulfonated or carboxylated in the aryl group
Derivatives are extremely suitable for direct silk printing.
ti, surprisingly, they stand out, despite the very high solubility that
is required for direct printing, due to very good water fastness and
Fastness to sublimation. Prints of blue-black or brown-streaked black are obtained
to deep black nuances.
färbt Seide in blaustichig schwarzen Nuancen.Example i 34.4 parts by weight of benzidine-in-disulfonic acid are mixed with
6.9 parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid at io ° diazotized and with an acetic acid
Solution of 22.3 parts by weight of i-naphthylamine-6-sulfonic acid combined. The resulting
Disazo dye is isolated by salting out warm and after stirring with 6.9
Parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid are directly diazotized at ordinary temperature
and with a soda-alkaline solution of 31.9 parts by weight of 2,8-aminonaphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid
united. The resulting polyazo dye is isolated in the usual way. He
dyes silk in blue-tinged black shades.
schwarzem Tone angefärbt.EXAMPLES 34.4 parts by weight of benzidine-o-disulphonic acid are diazotized with 6.9 parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid at 10 °, a solution of 13.7 parts by weight of cresidine and hydrochloric acid is added and the congo-acidic reaction is removed with sodium acetate. After coupling is complete, Congo acid is isolated at 60 °, stirred again and, for further diazotization, stirred with 6.9 parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid at ordinary temperature for several hours. The isolated Diazov connection is with the soda-alkaline solution of 18 parts by weight of m-carboxyphenyl-2,8-aminonaphthol-6-sulfonic acid and 1 5.9 parts by weight of 2. 8-aminonaphthol-3. 6-disulfonic acid combined. The dye is isolated in the usual way. Silk is dyed in a deep brown streaky black shade.
Man stumpft
Example 3 34.4 parts by weight of benzidine-m-disulfonic acid are diazotized with 6.9 parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid at 10 °, and a solution of 6.9 parts by weight of cresidine in hydrochloric acid is added. It is blunted with acetate to such an extent that the reaction remains weakly acidic to the Congo. After about half an hour, the cresidin has disappeared and it is then combined in acetic acid with the solution of 11.2 parts by weight of 1-naphthylamine-7-sulfonic acid. The disazo dye is isolated and diazotized directly at ordinary temperature with 6.9 parts by weight of nitrite and hydrochloric acid and combined with the soda-alkaline solution of 31.9 parts by weight of 2,8-aminonaphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid. The dye is as - usual isolated. Silk is dyed deep black.
