Im Gegensatz- zu den bekannten Einrichtungen wird also hier nur ein einziger Stützring benutzt, der in gleicher Weise wie beim Hauptpatent durch Federn gegen sein Spurlager dichtend angepreßt wird und gemäß der Erfindung so bemessen werden soll, daß seine Breite mindestens der halben Zylinderlänge entspricht. Ein solcher Stützring ist insbesondere bei kleineren Maschinen in der Lage, die Fliehkräfte der Kolben in der gleichen Weise aufzunehmen, wie dies sonst durch die beiden in den Endaussparungen des Zylinders angeordneten Stützringe geschieht.
