Stop and release device for electromagnetically controlled balance clocks
There are known electromagnetic stopping and releasing devices for watches,
at which time the unrest of the clocks caused by the electromagnetic armature
attached locking devices are stopped and released; to clear the riots
use drive impulses, which cause the unrest to vibrate from its persistence
offset. According to a proposal, this is achieved in that with a movable
Electromagnet armature is connected to a circular slide spring, which
to stop the restlessness dragging on the front side while it is being returned
as a result of its adhesion to the balance wheel, it gives the balance a driving impulse.
In another proposal, the movable electromagnet armature is a rotatable one
Locking cone connected, which in order to stop the unrest in the teeth of a
The ratchet wheel sitting on the balance shaft collapses, but when it is released it does
Return movement exerts a drive pulse on the unrest. By both. Devices
however, there is the disadvantage that their electromagnetic armature has a long travel
condition. Furthermore, at times greater stress on the unrest occurs, so that
whose journals and bearings must be chosen to be stronger, creating greater friction
adversely affect the vibrations of the restlessness.
geringen elektromagnetischen Energie gelingt.According to the invention, these shortcomings are eliminated in that a
with an electromagnetic armature firmly connected pawl directly that
Steering wheel of a clockwork stops or releases. Here is the electromagnetic armature's travel to work
so small that a safe response of this locking member with an extremely
low electromagnetic energy succeeds.
Furthermore, the stopping of the climbing wheel is guaranteed at the point where the driven gear parts are out of the rest position and can therefore start with certainty when they are released. A secondary drive pulse thus ceases. Another advantage is that when the climbing wheel is stopped every minute or so, as happens in particular with the regulation by means of electric waves, the unrest can continue to oscillate for a while with its living force, so that the climbing wheel, which is released again, stops barely had the duration of a second, found almost the full vibrations of the restlessness, especially since the restlessness is not burdened by any regulating organs. But if the climbing wheel is stopped in longer periods of time, e.g. B. after one or more hours, there are also longer pauses in which the balance oscillations finally cease; but since the climbing wheel is released in the drive position, the gear parts can be put into operation without any secondary excitation. According to the invention, the electromagnetic blocking and release succeeds with such a low energy that a response by means of an electrical wave indicator is made possible without an intermediate relay; through this. Considerable technical progress is achieved. The. Invention is shown in the accompanying figure. On the base plate 2, some gear parts of the clockwork, such as the steering wheel io, the armature with fork 12, the balance 13 with the spiral spring 14, are mounted in a known manner. Furthermore, the electromagnetic armature 5i, 52, 53 is rotatably mounted by means of the shaft 55 and is moved against the baffle screw 54 by the tension spring 6o. In the upper part of the two-armed electromagnetic armature, the flattened stop pin 53 is inserted, while in the lower part. the Eisenanlder 52 is attached. Furthermore, the two-armed pawl 48 is rotatably mounted on the plate 2 and is moved against the stop 49 under the tension of the spring 50. Finally, the electromagnet 56 is attached to the plate 2; its connecting lines 58, 59 lead to the known switching devices and energy source. The operation of the device is now as follows: If the pawl 48 is moved by adjusting elements (mechanical or electromagnetic) after the lower bounce screw, the switching lever 54 52, 55 is moved under the tension of the spring 6o against the stop 54, while the upper arm of the lever is moved to the Steigrad io and with its HaltesÜft 53 detects or supports one of the Steigradzälme, thus stopping the Steigrad in its rotary movements. The seat 53 is calculated for the gear parts of the clockwork so that the vibrations of the balance 13 continue for a period of time until the electromagnet 56 is excited and the lower arm 52 is thereby attracted by the electromagnet 56, whereby the lever rotated about its axis 55 in its upper part is moved away from the climbing wheel, and the pin 53 of which protrudes from the toothing of the climbing wheel io and thus releases the same for circulation again. The pawl 48 has meanwhile slipped from the lower surface of the arm 51 and under the pressure of the spring 5o snapped in its rotary motion against the stop 49, so that after switching off the electromagnet 56, the switching lever 54 52, 55 for its under the train of the spring 6o standing return movement is blocked.
