Verfahren zur Darstellung von Wollfarbstoffen der Anthrachinonreihe
Es wurde gefunden, daß, durch Einführung
von Cyangruppen in,
solcher
Anthracbinonderivate, die mindestens einen
Arylaminrest in a-Stellung enthalten, Farb-
basen entstehen, die sich gegenüber den
Muttersübstanzen und den entsprechenden
halogenhaltigen Körpern durch eine bedeu-
tende Vertiefung ihrer Eigenfarbe (Pasten-
form) und ihrer Lösungsfarbe in den ge-
bräuchlichen organischen Lösungsmitteln aus-
zeichnen. So ist z. B. i-MetUylammo-q.-p-t31y1-
amin@o-z-,cyananthrachinon ein grüner Körper,
der sich. auch in den gebräuchlichen organi-
schen Lösungsmitteln grün löst, im Gegewatz
zu i-Methylanä@no-q.-p-tolylaminoanthrachiion
und i-Methylami'no-q.-p-tolyiamino-a-brom-
ant'hrachi'non., welche blau gefÄrbt und in, den
gebräuchlichen organischen Lösungsmitteln
blau lösUch sind. DaB_ der Eintritt von
[3-ständigen Cyangruppen .bzw. der Ersatz von
[3-ständigen Halogenatomen durch Cyan-
gruppen die Eigen- und Lösungsfarbe von
Anthrachinoinderivaten derart zu vertiefen: ver-
mag, war bisher nicht bekannt und in keiner
Weise vorauszusehen. Dde Herstellung der
oben näher gekennzeichneten cyanhaltigen
Anthrachinonderivate kann z. B. durch Aus-
tausch negativer Substituenten, wie Halogen-
atome oder Sulfogruppen, gegen Cyan-
gruppen oder auch in der Welse erfolgen, daß
man in solchen Anthracbinonderivaten, die
durch (3 ständige Cyangruppen und a-ständige
negative Reste substituiert sind, mindestens
einen der letzteren durch Arylamihomeste er-
setzt.
Es wurde ferner gefunden, daß beim Be-
handeln der neuen Farbbasen m't eiüiem sul-
Üerenden Mittel, z. B. -schwachem Oleum,
Sulfosäuren erhaliten werden, welche Wolle
aus saurem Bade in kräftigen der Eigenfarbe
der Farbbasen entsprechenden Tönen an-
färben. Die Ausfärbungen zeichnen sich be-
sonders durch gute Egalität und schöne
Abendfarbe aus.
Beispiel z
7,8 Gewiichtsteile r-p-Tolylamino-3-broim-
anthrachinon (hergestellt aus z . 3-Dibrom-
anfhrachiton durch Umsatz mit p-Tolmdin)
werden mit r,8 Gewichtsteilen Kupfercyanür
und q.o Gewichtsteilen Chinofim, unter Rüh-
ren zum Sileden erbztzt. Manerhtzt so. lange,
bis eine in PyridiLn, gelöste Probe keine
Farbänderung mehr zeigt, was in etwa
r Stunde der Fall ist. Man läß.t jetzt :er-
kalten, saugt ab, wäscht das abgeschiedene
Gemisch des neuen Körpers und Kupfer-
bromür mit Alkohol' und Wasser aus und
schlämmt mit wenig Wasser an. Durch Zu-
satz von konzentrierter Salzsäure wird darauf
das Kupferbrornür in Lösung gebracht und
durch Ahaaugen und Auswaschen das i-p-
Tolyl#amino-3-Cyananthrachipnon isoliert. Das-
selbe läß:t sich aus Pyridin krvstalüsieren.
Es löst sich gelb in konzentrierter Schwefel-
säure, nach 'Zusatz von p-Formaldehyd grün,
blaustichigrot in Pyridin. Behandelt man
den Körper mit stilfierenden Mitteln; z. B.
schwachem Oleum, so entsteht eine Sul'fo-
säure, welch Wolle in roten Tönen anfärbt,
die viel blaustichiger sind als die Ausfär-
bungen des sulfi.erten Ausgangsmaterials.
Beispiel 2
8,1 Gewichtsteile i-A.mino--2-brom-4-p-tolyl-
amino;anthrachinon werden mit 1,8 Gewichts-
teilen Kupferryaniir und 5o Gewichtsteilien
Chinolin unter Rühren, zum Sieden erhitzt, bis
eine in Pyridin gelöste Probe keine 'Zunahme
des Grünstiches mehr zeigt. Die Reaktion
ist in 1/2 bis i Stunde beendet. Man läßt
dann erkalten und arbeitet, wie in Beispiel, i
angegeben, auf. i-Amirlo-2-cyan-4-p-tolyl-
aminoanthrachinon kristallisiert aus A 'nilin in
dunklen Kriställchen, die sich in: konzentrier-
ter Schwefelsäure stumpfgrwn, ih Pyridin
grünstichigblau lösen. Behandelt man den
neuen Körper in Schwefels:äuremoaiohydrat-
lösurng mit Olewn, so, entsteht eine - Sulfo-
säure; welche Wolle grünstichigblau färbt.
Die Ausfärbungen zeichnen sich durch. gute
Egahsierung und schöne Abendfarbe aus.

io Gewichtsteile - 1-Me'hylamina-2-cYan-4-
bromanthrachinon (hergestellt aus i=Methyl-
amno-2-,cyananthrachincxi durch Bromieren),
7o Gewichtsteil:e p-TeMdin und 6 GewIchts-
teile wasserfreies Natriumaaoetat werden unter
Rühren zum Sieden erhitzt, bis; die Far'bstoff-
bildwrng beendet ist. Das: Foxtsichxeiten der
Reaktion wird dabei durch Lösen von, Proben
in Pyridin oder Chloroform überwacht. Die
stark gefärbte Schmelze wird nun mit Alkohol
oder verdünnter Salzsäure aufgearbeitet und
das Rohprodukt aus: viel sied:enndem Eisessig
umkristallisiert. Das so in feinen Nädelchen
kristallisierende z-Methylamino-2-cyan-4-p-
tolplaminoanthra.chinon löst sich in konzen-
trierter Schwefelsäure grünstichiggelb, in
Pynidin grün, während sich 1-Methylamino 2-
brom-4-p tolylamino,anthrachinon grünstichig-
blau in Pyridin löst. Behandelt man den
neuen Körper in Schwefei-s:äL:nemonohydrat-
lösung mit Oleüm., so entsteht,eine Sulfosäure,
welche Wohe aus. sauerem Bad schön gräm.
färbt. Die Ausfärbungen zeichnen sich durch
vorzügliche Egalisierung -und schöne Abend-
farbe aus.
