Drive for agitators on roasting ovens Addition to patent 482 gti In the main patent
q.82 5I I is a mechanical roasting oven with fixed, stacked
Roasting chambers described, which alternate through in the middle and on the periphery
arranged through openings are connected to one another. In the individual roasting chambers
there are mechanical agitators, whose agitator arms are equipped with agitator teeth for the purpose of
favorable mechanical stress are stored on both sides, so that the overall height
same is low. This also results in a low overall height of the roasting bowl
made possible, so that the air cushion over the layer of roasting material lying on the hearth
also low and thereby the air speed is increased so that it
can penetrate well into the roasted food thanks to its lively power and produce a more intense one
and faster toasting is achieved. The roasting material wanders through under constant
Rummage through the stove with the stirring teeth from the one attached to the roof
Feeding device up to the silo arranged under the removal shaft. The agitators
are either in the manner of a diameter on both sides on one in the periphery
of the furnace arranged circular rings attached, which is provided with a ring gear
and is driven by a drive wheel which is attached to one on the outside
of the furnace located vertical shaft is attached, or the agitator arms are
in the manner of radii on the one hand on the mentioned circular range and on the other hand
on the scar-like parts of a vertical hollow shaft arranged in the furnace axis
attached, which for carrying the arms and at the same time for supplying secondary air
in the roasting chambers serves the highest reaction. In the latter case, the drive
of the agitator can also be done from the outside by means of drive wheels, which on
a vertical vertical shaft attached to the outside of the furnace
and engage in the ring gear of the rotating ring, or the drive
can be done from: the support shaft located in the furnace axis. This hollow
Support shaft can here also consist of two concentric one inside the other, forming a shell space
befinidlichen tubes exist, the inner cavity for the supply of cooling air
.in the roasting chambers of the highest reaction and in the hollow stirring arms,
the outer jacket space, on the other hand, is used to carry away those returned from the hollow agitator arms
heated cooling air is used. _ It has now been shown that with the latter
Arrangement in which the agitator arms on the one hand on the rotating rings and on the other hand
- Are attached to similar parts of the hollow center shaft, insbesonfiere
at
Furnaces of larger dimensions drive from the gear rim: the rotating ring from or
from the hollow medium wave is not favorable, since in this case a strong one
Torque must be overcome, which requires the installation of special horizontal stiffeners
the individual agitator arms of each agitator requires. However, since the agitators are in the
Roasting chambers to the foot; exposed to heat and roasting gases and therefore for
this and therefore also very resistant material for the horizontal stiffeners
must be used, this type of construction is uneconomical and expensive. Also to a limited extent
the higher bending stress in the horizontal direction, reinforced cross-sections
the stirring arms, which in turn have an unfavorable effect on the blue height of the roasting chambers.
The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and
to give the agitator a drive in which the agitator arms depending on the type of drive
There are all kinds of rotational forces from the rotating ring on the hollow central shaft and vice versa
transferred from the hollow center shaft to the orbiting ring, so that the costly
Horizontal stiffening is completely eliminated and the agitator arms only work through
claims the resistance of the roasted material to be rummaged through and transported further
are and thus relatively small cross-sections can be obtained, whereby at the same time
A further reduction in the overall height of the roasting chambers is achieved. According to the invention
this is done by the simultaneous drive of the central hollow shaft and the rotating one
Ring, by a common drive device which is so arranged
is that .the speed of the central hollow shaft and the orbiting range are exactly the same
is. It does not matter whether the rotating rings are only driven by one drive wheel each
or driven by two or more drive wheels.
The object of the invention is on the accompanying drawing .in one
Illustrated embodiments, namely Fig. I shows a side view of the
Roasting furnace s with the new drive device, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
Mittelwelle i o angebrachten Schraubenrad i i in Eingriff steht.
As can be seen from this, i are the hearth soles, 2 are the rotating rings, in the externally visible toothed rings of which the drive wheels 3 engage, which are fastened to the vertical shaft 4. In the exemplary embodiment, two such vertical shafts 4 and 4 'are provided so that the rotating rings are driven from two opposite sides of the furnace. The vertical shaft q is also sufficient for smaller furnaces. alone, but on the other hand, in the case of very large ovens, more than two vertical drive shafts can be arranged in order to ensure that the agitators run smoothly and to avoid the corners of the large circular rings. The two vertical shafts 4 and 4 'are mechanically connected at the upper end by spur and bevel gears 5 with the same transmission ratio to a common connecting shaft 6, so that both vertical shafts have the same speed and rotate in the same direction of rotation. The drive. Takes place via a bevel gear 7 from the front of the motor 8. The connecting shaft 6 guided over the furnace roof is also provided with a worm 9 which meshes with a helical gear ii correspondingly attached to the hollow central shaft io. The gear ratio of the worm gear drive is again selected so that the central shaft has exactly the same speed as the rotating range. The stirring arms, not shown in the drawing, which are attached to the rotating rings on the one hand and to the hollow central shaft on the other hand, are therefore freely rotated when the device is started up and no longer serve to transmit the rotation from the central shaft to the rotating ring or the other way around.
The object of the invention is not limited to that in the description
Embodiment explained and illustrated in the drawing is limited,
But it also includes all other embodiments which are based on the same basic idea
based on the invention.
