Verfahren zum Entwickeln von Bild- und Tonfilmen, bei denen die Bild- und eine oder mehrere Tonaufzeichnungen nebeneinander auf einem gemeinsamen Filme erfolgt sind Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Entwickeln von Bild- und Tonfilmen. Die Lichtintensität, die zum Herstellen eines Tonfilms im allgemeinen zur Verfügung steht, ist bekanntlich erheblich geringer als die Intensität, die zur Belichtung eines Bildfilms zur Wirkung gelangt. Dies hat den Nachteil, daß bei einem Film, der sowohl ein Bild- als auch ein oder mehrere Tonphotogramme trägt, die letzteren nur unvollkommen zur Entwicklung kommen können, weil das Bildphotogramm bereits fertigentwickelt ist, wenn die Phonogramme erst zu erscheinen beginnen. Wollte man bisher diesen Übelstand vermeiden, so war man gezwungen, zwei getrennte Filmbänder zu verwenden, die unabhängig voneinander entwickelt werden müssen.Process for developing picture and sound films in which the picture and one or more sound recordings side by side on a shared film The invention relates to a method for developing image and sound films. Die Erfindung bezweckt die Ausbildung eines Entwicklungsverfahrens, bei welchem der Fehler, der durch die stärkere Belichtung des Bildphotograrnmes entsteht, beim Entwickeln des `gemeinsamen Filmbandes ausgeglichen werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß geschieht die Vermeidung dieses Fehlers durch getrenntes Entwickeln der Photogramme, und zwar derart, daß man die schwächer belichteten Phonogramme beispielsweise durch Vergrößerung der Entwicklungsdauer oder durch Verwendung eines kräftiger wirkenden Entwicklers genau so gründlich durchentwickelt, als dies bei der Bildaufnahme der Fall ist. Das getrennte Entwickeln der beiden Photograsmn.e kann erfindungsgemäß entweder dadurch erfolgen, daß das Filmband beim Entwickeln durch geeignete Führungsrolllen in hochkantiger Lage gehalten wird und nur so weit in den Entwickler eintaucht, daß, immer das eine der Photogramme benetzt wird. Es ist aber auch möglich, vor dem Entwickeln ein oder mehrere der Photogramme mit einem Material zu überziehen, welches vom Entwickler nicht angegriffen wird, wohl aber in irgendeiner anderen den Film nicht angreifenden Flüssigkeit, z. B. Alkohol, löslich ist. Sobald dann die acht abgedeckten Photogramme fertigentwickelt sind, wird der überzugentfernt und dann das bereits entwickelte Photogramm so lange abgedeckt, bis auch das oder die anderen Photogramme entwickelt worden sind. Man kann hierbei das Verfahren insofern vereinfachen, als man nur das - kürzere Zeit zu entwickelnde = Photogramm abdeckt, das andere Photogramm aber nicht vollständig entwickelt, sondern nasch dem Entfernen des Überzuges, die Photogramme in an sich bekannter Weise zusammen fertigentwickelt.The invention aims to develop a development process, at which the error caused by the stronger exposure of the picture photograrnmes arises, when developing the `common film tape can be compensated.
