Gemäß der Erfindung befindet sich hinter dem Schar quer zur Fahrrichtung ein Reifen a (Abb. ι und 2), welcher von der Welle e angetrieben wird. In diesem Reifen, welcher etwa bis zur Scharsohle reicht, sind die Zinken b angebracht. Die Mitwirkung des Schars entlastet den Reifen, ist aber beispielsweise bei leichtem Boden nicht durchaus erforderlich. Die erwähnten Zinken haben den Zweck, die Kartoffeln aus der Erde zu harken und in schmalen Reihen hinter der Maschine abzulegen. Für die Erreichung dieses doppelten Zweckes ist die Stellung, Form und Gesamtanordnung der Zinken gemäß der Erfindung von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung, zumal die erwähnte Wirkung ohne jede Zwischenarbeit bzw. ohne Sondervorrichtungen, wie Siebe, Trommeln u. dgl., erzielt wird.
