Um der Filzplatte auf dem Rost eine glatte Auflage zu geben, können in bekannter
Weise zwischen dem Rost und der Filzplatte Drahtnetze e von verschiedener Maschengröße
gelegt werden. An dem Hohlraum c des Gestells ist bei g ein Exhaustor angeschlossen,

erreichen kann. Die offenen Roste körnen auch zum Einblasen erwärmter Luft dienen.
Gegebenenfalls können die Wandungen des Rostes noch mit Löchern h versehen sein,
um den Durchtritt der Luft durch die Roststäbe zu der Plättunterlage besser zu ermöglichen
und um den Schwaden am ganzen Umfang des Roststabes abzuziehen. Wie die Abb. ¢ zeigt,
