Process for dyeing cellulose esters and ethers It has been found that the indophenols of the general formula: in which R1 and R2 are an atom of hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl radicals, R3 is an aromatic radical which can be substituted, R4 is an aromatic radical which is at least once substituted in the nucleus by a halogen atom, for the production of genuine Tones on cellulose esters and ethers, such as B. acetate silk, are very suitable. These indophenols produce on this material, preferably in the presence of dispersants, such as. B. sulphite waste liquor, naphthalenesulphonic acid-formaldehyde, condensation products, salts of lignin sulphonic acid, Turkish red oil, etc., blue to green tones, which differ not only from the indophenols recommended up to now for coloring the cellulose esters by their color tones and purity, but also by their light and Differentiate positional stability.-The indophenols in question here can be obtained in various ways, e.g. B. by simultaneous oxidation of a halogenated p-aminophenol and an aromatic amine with a free p-position or by condensing a halogenated p-nitrosophenol with an aromatic amine with a free p-position or by simultaneous oxidation of a suitable p-diamine with a halogenated phenol free p-position.
B. Toluylendiamin, Acetyl-m-toluylendiamin, Acetylm-phenylendiamin usw.,
als Nitrosophenole p-Nitroso-o-chlorphenol, Nitrosokresole, als p-Diamine : p-Phenylendiamin,
asymmetrische Dimethyl- oder Diäthyl-p-phenylendiamine, p-Aminodiphenylamin, als
Halogenphenole o-Chlorophenol, 2 - 5 -Dichlorophenoi, Chlorokresole, usw. Beispiel
Particularly suitable halogenated p-aminophenols are:
2-chloro-4-aminoz-phenol, 2 - 5-dichloro-4-amino-z-phenol, 2 - 3 - 6-trichloro-4-amino-z-phenol,
as aromatic amines with free p-position: aniline or o-toluidine, ethylbenzylaniline,
N-ethylphenylglycine, N-methyldiphenylamine, m-diamines and their substitution products,
such as B. tolylenediamine, acetyl-m-tolylenediamine, acetylm-phenylenediamine, etc.,
as nitrosophenols p-nitroso-o-chlorophenol, nitrosocresols, as p-diamines: p-phenylenediamine,
asymmetric dimethyl or diethyl p-phenylenediamines, p-aminodiphenylamine, as
Halophenols o-chlorophenol, 2-5-dichlorophenols, chlorocresols, etc. Example
Part of indophenol from 2 - 6-dichloro-4-aminoz-phenol and dimethylaniline is pasted
by rubbing with z to = s / 2 part 3o to 5% sulphite waste liquor. To this
Paste is added 2 parts of a hot, 6 percent soap solution,
stirs
through and diluted to 2,000 parts with lukewarm water.
treibt,
spült und trocknet. Man erhält ein Türkisblau von vorzüglichen Echtheitseigenschaften.100 parts of acetate silk are placed in the dyebath thus prepared, handled for 3/4 hours by gradually increasing the temperature to 700 , rinsed and dried. A turquoise blue with excellent fastness properties is obtained.
So erhält man z. B. eine grüne Färbung
mit dem Indophenol aus 2 - 6-Dichlor-4-amino-i-phenol und Acethylm-toluylendiamin.One proceeds in a similar way with the others in question
Indophenols. You get bluer tones with those indophenols that are in the aromatic
Core R4 contain only one chlorine atom, such as. B. the indophenols from 2-chloro-q.-amino-i-phenol
and dimethylaniline or o-toluidine, etc.; greener shades are created with the indophenols
from 2-6-dichloro-4.-a.mino-i-phenol or 2-6-dibromo-q-aminoi-phenol and diethylaniline
or dimethylaniline, etc.; Even greener shades are obtained with higher halogenated ones
Indophenols, such as. B. the indophenol from 2-5-6 -trichloro-q.-aminoiphenol
and diethylaniline. The type and position of the substituents in the diamine nucleus of indophenol
can also affect the color tone. So you get z. B. a green color
with the indophenol from 2-6-dichloro-4-amino-i-phenol and acethylm-toluylenediamine.
