Der Zweck der Erweiterung des Ringraumes R ist der, daß beim Öffnen -der Schalen und Entleeren der Schleuder darin ein Teil des angesammelten Schleudergutes zurückbleibt, das nach erfolgtem Schließen der Schalen im Verein mit nachströmendem Schleudergut für die Dichtung wieder zur Verfügung steht.The two shells of the centrifugal machine are labeled a and a '.
