Description
Method and device for recording natural-colored cinematograph images If natural-colored cinematograph images are produced in such a way that the partial images are produced next to one another on the same film, and three lenses are used for this purpose, it is known that these lenses a, b, c are best arranged in a triangular shape on (Fig.r). A full quarter of the film remains unused. To avoid this, four objectives a, b, c, d were used (Fig. 2). This has the disadvantage, however, that the lenses have to have a smaller diameter because their distance from top to bottom in the usual film format is less than from left to right.
The purpose of the invention is the favorable triangular arrangement of the To keep lenses, but to use the entire rectangular film section. This is done by the fact that, according to the invention, one sub-image is divided into two Halves is added (Fig. 3, dl and d2). It takes five for this purpose Lenses, three of which are always triangular to each other. One can also use the same principle for three images, one of which is in two separate halves cl and c2 are recorded if the individual images are given a square shape (Fig. q.). In Fig. 3, the halves of the image generated by the lenses dl and dz complement each other to a full image, in Fig. q. the image halves generated by the lenses cl and c2. The matching image lines are on opposite edges of the Overall image section. The two photographing lenses producing the split image must be arranged so that their optical axes are approximately the opposite Cut the edges of the entire image section.
When projecting, these fields must be appropriately arranged Projection lenses complement each other to form a full picture.
In all figures the diagonals are drawn in the image fields.
