Description
Geschwindigkeitssichter zur TreÜung von Fein- und Grobkorn inittels Luftstroms Für die Sichtung von Feinmehl aus Grobgut sind bisher vorwiegend sogenannte Zentrifugal-Streutellersichter in Anwendung gewesen. Neuerdings 2 geht - man besonders in der Kohlenmüllerei dazu über, Geschwindigkeitssichter zu verwenden, d. h. Einrichtungen, bei denen eine bestimmte Luftmenge von bestimmter Geschwindigkeit einen von Blech eingeschlossenen Raum durchstreicht. Geschwindigkeit, Luftmenge und Unterdruck bedingen die Größe des Kornes, das als Fertiggut durch den Sichtraum gehoben werden soll. Da für verschiedene Verwendungszwecke das Fertigkorn auch von wechselnder Größe sein muß, strebt man eine Regelbarkeit der Sichter an. Das einfachste Mittel ist bisher, die Luftmenge des Gebläses zu verändern, wodurch naturgemäß auch die Geschwindigkeit in dem Sichter eine andere wird. Da je- doch die Druckverhältnisse in dem Luftumwälzungssystern damit ebenfalls andere werden, erwies es sich als notwendig, durch Re-"elbarkeit des Sichtergehäuses die Sicht arbeit zu verfeinern. Es wurden schlecht zu-U wer ausführhare und teure "ängliche, sch Sichter geschaffen, die mehr oder weniger auf Erfahrung aufgebaut waren, so daß der gewünschte Erfolg sehr oft ausblieb. Dies lag in der Hauptsache daran, daß sich mechanischeEinrichtungen nicht p# schaffen lassen, die bei genügender Betriebssicherheit und Zugänglichkeit so einstellbar sind, daß bei wechselnder Korngröße und Kornschwere die gewünschten Verhältnisse erreicht werden. Als besonderer Mangel hat sich herausgestellt, (laß bei veränderlichem Ouerschnitt nur sehr schwer auch die Höhe ä-es Sichtraumes verändert werden kann. So war es nicht möglich, bei spezifisch schwerem Sichtgut den notwendigen Weg zur Sichtung zu erhalten. Vorliegende Erfindung sucht nun den an-,gedeuteten Schwierigkeiten in verhältnismäßig einfacher Weise abzuhelfen. Zu diesem Zwecke wird der Sichtraum ganz oder teilweise von Gummiwänden oder -ähnlichen ausdehnbaren Stoffen eingeschlossen, so daß er in senkrechter und wagerechter Richtung leicht ausgedehnt werden kann.
