Description

Verfahren zum Enthaaren und Äschern von Häuten und Fellen Die Erfindung betrifft eine besondere Ausführungsform des Verfahrens nach Patent 434 569 zum Enthaaren und Äschern von Häuten und Fellen. Das Wesen des Verfahrens nach dem genannten Patent besteht in der gleichzeitigen Verwendung von löslichen Silikaten und geeigneten alkalischen Enthaarungsmitteln. In der Beschreibung dieses Patentes sind als geeignete alkalische Enthaarungsmittel für diesen Zweck in erster Linie Schwefelnatrium im Gemisch mit Natriumhydroxyd genannt. 4 Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß ein besonders wertvolles Enthaarungsmittel erhalten wird, wenn man an Stelle der fixen Alkalien bzw. ihrer Salze Ammoniumsulfid oder andere Ammoniakderivate bzw. deren Gemische verwendet und diese gleichzeitig mit den löslichen Silikaten zur Anwendung bringt. Dadurch werden ganz besonders günstige Wirkungen beim Enthaaren und Äschern der Häute und Felle erzielt, die denjenigen noch wesentlich überlegen sind, die man bei Anwendung von fixen Alkalien, insbesondere von Schwefelnatrium oder Schwefelkalium erhält. So macht eine aus Lösungen von Schwefelammonium und löslichen Silikaten bestehende Enthaarungsflüssigkeit die Häute und Felle schon innerhalb weniger Stunden haarlässig und greift sowohl die Hautsubstanz als auch das Haarkleid so gut wie gar nicht an. Das Arbeiten mit der neuen Enthaarungsflüssigkeit gestaltet sich sehr einfach. Beispiel Zur Enthaarung einer Partie Schaffelle benutzt man einen Ascher, der auf i cbm Wasser 5o 1 käufl.
