Description
Sehr vorteilhaft verwendet man Kalisalze. B. Farbstoffen. Be i s p i e 1 #e i. Preparation of autohydroquinone-9, 10-disulphuric acid esters or their salts It has been found that 9, io-disulphuric acid esters of anthrahydroquinane can be obtained in excellent yield and purity if one anthraquinone, its homologues or substitution products which are not vat dyes are, in the presence of tertiary bases and halosulfonic acids, their salts or their esters with metals, such as. B. iron, copper, zinc treated. The solutions of the alkali metal salts of the 9, io-diester sulfonic acids, from which these can usually be salted out, are obtained by distillation of water in the presence of alkali and subsequent filtration. Potash salts are very beneficial. These c), io-diester sulfonic acids or their salts are valuable as intermediates for the preparation of e.g. B. dyes. Eg p ie 1 #e i. To 2oo weight parts of pyridine is allowed under stirring and cooling 5o parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid dropwise and carries one to 30 '20.9 parts by weight of anthraquinone at 25th After thorough stirring, the temperature is increased to 65 ', 30 parts by weight of copper bronze are gradually added, and the mixture is stirred for 1 / 10th hour at 70'. - - The reaction mixture is poured to cool down to 35 s at 3o 'in 17o parts by weight of sodium hydroxide solution of 40' B # and 250 parts by weight Water, distilled the pyridine removed by steam and filtered hot from copper. When the filtrate cools, the disodium salt of the 9-io-disulfuric acid ester crystallizes out in solid yellow crystals. The yield is almost quantitative.
If the 50 parts by weight of chlorosulphonic acid are replaced by 56 parts by weight of methyl chlorosulphonate and the rest of the procedure is as indicated, the same product is obtained.
In a mixture of 2oo parts by weight of pyridine and 8o parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid, stir at about 30 '26 .5 parts by weight of 13-acetaminoanthraquinone, raise the temperature to 65', gradually add 3o parts by weight of zinc dust and keep the temperature - 1/2 hour at 7o '. The, Pe-action mixture is poured into 18o GeAchtsteile sodium hydroxide solution of 40'- 'B6 and 25o parts by weight Water, distilled with water vapor sucked from the zinc, and thus obtains the very slightly soluble disodium salt of - 13 Aminoanthral-iydrocWnon-9, io- disulfuric acid ester as a yellow solution, since the acetamino group is saponified during treatment with steam in the presence of alkali.
If 56 parts by weight of chlorosulphonic acid methyl ester are used instead of 50 parts by weight of chlorosulphonic acid and the 18o parts by weight of sodium hydroxide solution are further replaced by 200 parts by weight of potassium hydroxide solution (46 percent), one obtains after steam distillation and subsequent filtration. yellow solution, from which the dipotassium salt of the ß-anoantrahydrochüion-9, io-dis-wefelsäureester can be well salted out, for example with potassium chloride. It crystallizes from the hot solution #n yellow needles. The yield is from 60 to 70 % of theory.
If the 3o parts by weight of zinc dust is replaced by 50 parts by weight of iron filings in example 2, otherwise the procedure is exactly as indicated there, one arrives at the same result.
In a mixture of pyridine and 2oo weight Fiegen 5o parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid '25.1 Gewichtsibeäle P-Formylaminoanthrachinon and sets at 45 to 50' contributes 25 gradually 3o parts by weight of copper bronze added. After 1/2 to 1 hour of stirring at 50 ', it is poured into 180 parts by weight of potassium hydroxide solution (46 percent) and 300 parts by weight of water, the pyriffine is distilled off with steam, with simultaneous saponification of the formylamino group, while still hot, the copper is sucked off and added Filtrate with potassium chloride. On slow cooling, the dipotassium salt of the ß-aminoanthrahydroquinone disic-hv "efe-l acid ester separates out in beautiful ge # ibein crystals. The yield is 80 to 20% of theory.
5. To a mixture of 2oo parts by weight of pyridine and 50 parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid, 26.6 parts by weight of β-ar-, et-oxyanthraquin-one are added, with stirring, and the temperature is increased to 65 '. gradually add 50 parts by weight of iron filings and keep the temperature at 70 for 1/2 to 1 hour. The reaction mixture pours Tn-gn into 18o parts by weight of 40% B6 and 25o parts by weight of water, distilled with water vapor, the acetoxy group is saponified, and sucks off the iron. The filtrate contains the very easily soluble trisodium salt of β-oxyanthrahydroquinine, n-9, io-disulfuric acid ester in an amount which is about 70% of the starting material used.
Exactly as in the previous examples, the chlorosulfonic acid can also be replaced here by the equivalent amount of ethyl or ethyl chlorosulfonic acid. 6. In a mixture of 35o parts by weight of pyridine and 100 parts by weight of chlorosulphonic acid, at about 30 ' 3 -, 2 parts by weight -, 6-Diaoetdiaminoant-hrachinon #, mentioned: to 65', add 3o parts by weight of cup-derbronze gradually added and kept at 65 to 7o 'for an hour. The reaction mixture is then poured into 270 parts by weight of sodium hydroxide solution and 500 parts by weight of water, the pyridine is distilled off with steam, the acetaminophen groups are saponified, and the copper is suctioned off. In the filtrate there is a yield of 60 to 70 % of the readily soluble 2,6-diananoanthrahydroquinone-9, io-disulfuric acid ester as disodium salt.
Ersetzt man die ioo Gewichtsteile Chlorsulfonsäure durch i 12 Gewichtsteile Chlorsulfonsäuremethylester, so erhält man dasselbe Produkt. The 100 parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid are replaced by 12 parts by weight Methyl chlorosulfonate, the same product is obtained.
7. --6.5 parts by weight of ß-acetamine-oanthraquinone and 100 parts by weight of sodium chlorosulfonic acid (C, SO, 3 Na Na C, gop%) are added to 400 parts by weight of pyridine with stirring. The mixture is heated to 65 ' and gradually added 3o parts by weight of iron powder. The temperature should not rise above 70 '. The whole thing is stirred for 3 hours at 63 to 70 ', then for 2 hours at 7o to 8o'.
After cooling, the reaction mixture becomes 125 parts by weight Sodium hydroxide solution of 40% B6 and 100% by weight of water carried eh # and the pyridine distilled off with steam.
The iron sludge is sucked off and washed out well with hot water. The disodium salt can be obtained from the strongly green fluorescent material . of the ß-An-II-rio-9, io-dihydroanthraquin, o, adis, sulfuric acid ester by salting out in a yield of about 60%.
