Centrifugal friction clutch for looms with individual electric drive
The invention relates to a centrifugal friction clutch for looms with electrical
Single drive. Such looms become many hundreds in the course of a working day
Stopped and restarted times. Since one naturally works with the strength of the
Drive motor goes down as far as possible, such looms have drive motors

However, engine oppose difficulties, so that you have already created clutches
which allow a gradual engagement of the loom. The well-known couplings
consist, for example, of flyweight levers that swing apart when A.
act on wedges and thereby a two-part brake ring on the hollow cylindrical one
Press on the friction surface of the clutch. When coupling the flyweights together, it should be used as intended
with this coupling, the wedge, which is designed as a loose part, re-establishes itself
go back and thus enable the loosening of the brake rings. In practice it has
found that the brake parts and the wedge become so with fibers in a short time
and put dust so that the wedge no longer comes out of its braking position
and thereby the clutch is continuously engaged. When you have someone like that in his

expected.
The present invention is that the pressing
the part causing the brake rings is not loose between = the flyweights and the brake rings
arranged, but is inevitably connected to the flyweights, so that on
In any case, the brake rings are released when the weights are folded up. For execution
the invention is a nut known per se in manual clutches, i. H. a mistake
cube-shaped body, used, which, firmly connected to the flyweight pair, at the
Unfolding the flyweights stands on edge and thereby pressing
the brake rings. When folding the flyweights, as a result of decreasing
Circulation number, the nut inevitably returns to its original position, the one without
further allows the brake rings to go back.
Abbildungen dargestellt. An embodiment of the invention is shown in two on the drawing

On the driven coupling part a, which in a known manner contains a toothing on the outside, the weight levers b and c are mounted to swing around bolts d and e , which are coupled in a known manner by a connecting rod g and are retracted into their rest position by a spring f . One weight lever c is approximately cube-shaped at its hinge end h so that it forms a nut there which lies between the free ends of the brake rings i. These brake rings are rotatably connected to one another in a known manner at l and provided with the brake lining k.
When the weights swing apart, the nut h positions itself accordingly
at an angle so that the upper and lower boundary edges shown in Fig. a are horizontal
are shown run obliquely. This causes the brake ring halves i to separate
pressed against the inner wall of the coupling part n2, causing the coupling
will. When the weights b and c return to their initial position, the nut takes
h inevitably returns to its initial position shown in Fig
the decoupling is effected.
