Die Anschlagflächen S an den Bügeln P und Q sind so ausgebildet, daß sie mitden entsprechend ausgebildeten Anschlagflächen T und U der Scherenhebel C, H bzw. D, E zusammenarbeiten. Dies geschieht zweckmäßig in der Weise, daß sowohl bei zusammengeklapptem als auch bei aufgeklapptem Verdeck die Scherenhebelenden gleichzeitig in entgegengesetzter Richtung auf die Bügel einwirken und diese bei zusammengeklapptem Verdeck in der Längsrichtung der Scherenhebel und bei aufgeklapptem Verdeck in senkrecht dazu liegender Richtung zwangläufig halten.Instead of being embedded in the scissor levers C and D, the brackets .P and Q, which carry the top, are hinged to the upper kinks of the scissor lever-like longitudinal members.
