Schachtofen zum Brennen und Rösten von Kalk, Zement usw. Vorliegende
In
Weise.Shaft furnace for burning and roasting lime, cement, etc. The present one
The invention relates to a rotatable shaft furnace, which consists of .three parts,
the substructure, middle piece and upper part. The upper part is firmly mounted and
rests on `the lower part, supported by columns. The middle part is around that
The main axis is built to be rotatable and contains the chambers for the material to be fired. The upper fixed one
Part is provided with compartments that correspond to the chambers of the middle part.
It contains the burners. In Fig. I is an embodiment of such a furnace
in cross section, in Fig. a in plan and in Fig. 3 in longitudinal section
after the center line of the combustion chambers. Fig.q. shows a plan view
on the stove. For the example, a gas-fired furnace is selected, which with
is equipped with five chambers. The furnace can also be equipped with a different firing system
provided and equipped with more or fewer chambers instead of five. In
Fig. I is the lower part with a, the middle part with b and the upper part with c.
The combustion chambers are labeled I to V in Fig. A. The naming process is a
steadily and takes place in the following way: Assume that chamber i is located
in the fire, the gas comes from pipe d (Fig. i and ¢) through the valves
e after the gas channels f, exits through slots and hits above the material to be fired
the combustion air coming from the hot air ducts h (Fig. i and 3).
The fire gases now pull through the kiln from top to bottom, pass through the
Discharge slots i into the next chamber V and heat the material to be fired in this chamber
pulling upwards. Then either pull them through the smoke pipe K (Fig. 3)
after the chimney or, if there are more than five chambers, two or
passed several chambers, giving off their heat to the material to be fired. The combustion air
enters chamber III, which has already been burned down, through opening l (Fig. 3),
pulls through the fired material, cooling it down to chamber II, sweeps it through
this upwards and hits, highly heated, through the slots of the ring air duct h in
Chamber I together with the fuel gas. The filling device is located above the chambers
and among them the emptying by means of slides or flaps or other known ones
Way.
If the material to be fired in chamber I is sufficiently high, then the
Middle part of the furnace mechanically forward by one chamber length in the firing direction
turned; the burning process then takes place in the same way as described above
in the next chamber and so on.
The furnace is suitable for burning lime, cement, clay and others
lumpy goods, for roasting ores, etc.
