Die Stoffzuschneidemaschine gemäß der Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei Walzen a und b, zwischen denen die Stoffbahn bearbeitet wird. Die Unterwalze a ist mit dicht nebeneinanderiegenden verdeften Rillen e versehen, in welche die Stechwerkzeuge eingesetzt werden. Letztere bestehen aus flachen, dünnen Stahlmessern f, welche an Böcken g festgeschraubt sind (Abb.3 bis 5). Diese Böcke weisen an ihrer Unterfläche eine Bohrung auf, mit der sie auf dien Zapfen h einer Unterplatte i drehbar aufgesetzt sind. Die Stechwerkzeuge können daher in die Rillen e der Walze a an beliebiger Stelle eingesetzt und in beliebigem Winkel zur Achsrichtung der Walze eingestellt werden, wie Abb. 5 in gestrichelten Linien andeutet.
