Es handelt sich bei vorliegender Erfindung um eine Neuerung an einem bekannten Baumband. Diese bekannten Baumbänder, welche aus einem Blechstreifen bestehen, der den Baum sowie den Haltestamm umfaßt und der zwischen beiden Stämmen durch ein Rohrstück oder eine Feder zusammengehalten wiird, haben den Nachteil, daß das Rohrstück bzw. die Feder den Blechstreifen an den ίο Enden mit der Zeit durchscheuert, so daß das . Band zerreißt. Um diesem Übelstande zu begegnen, sind gemäß vorliegender Erfindung neben dem Rohrstück Schutzplatten angebracht, welche an beiden Enden im Bogen auslaufen·. Über das aus einem Blechstreifen 1 bestehende Baumband, welches beim Gebrauch sowohl den^;Baumstamm B wie den Haltestab H umfaßt, ist, wie bekannt, ein Rohrstück bzw. ein Hals 2 geschoben. Damit nun dieser Hals mit seinen Kanten nicht am Baumband 1 anliegt, sind mit demselben Metallplatten 3 und 4 verbunden, die verhältnismäßig stark und an ihren Enden nach außen gebogen sind. Dadurch kann beim Schwanken des Baumes das Baumband niemals durch den Hals 2 scharfkantig abgebogen werden, sondern das Band folgt dem Schwanken des Baumes in dem durch die Platten 3 und 4 vorgeschriebenen Bogen, wie aus Abb. 2 ersichtlich, so daß es nicht brechen kann. Das Baumband hat also eine lange Lebensdauer, und der Baum erleidet keine Beschädigung.Fig. Ι from the side and in
