Description

Extrahiert man z. So z. Process for the preparation of an effective means of combating tuberculosis and other diseases associated with granulating tumors . The seeds of Pinus silvestris have not yet had any medicinal use found; it has now been shown, surprisingly, that this seed contains substances which are excellent for combating tuberculosis and other non-bacterial ones proliferating neoplasms such as cancer are suitable. If you extract z. B. the moist or dry seeds with water, to which a little table salt is added is, a solution is obtained which is more effective even with an extremely low content of Substance after injection into the pathological, tubercular human organism causes a marked decrease in tuberculous symptoms. So z. B. disappear the typical rattle noises over the lungs in a relatively short time. To After longer treatment, the decline can be seen on the comparative X-ray plates the changes quite noticeable in the so-called cheesy pneumonia, the sputum becomes less abundant, the tubercle bacilli visibly disappear.

The reaction of the water does not play a significant role in the extraction Role. The extra lotion of the seeds works particularly well when using neutral ones Saline solution. Organic solvents are also capable of the active components of the Ingesting semen; in this case it is advisable to use water immiscible solvent, first subject the seeds to a mild drying process. The solutions are subjected to sterilization at any stage, for example by sending them i through Berkefeld filters. As very special , however, the electroosmotic treatment of the extract has proven to be useful, because this apparently also causes a separation of indifferent or disturbing dietary fibers entry. Examples. i. i ooo g of Pini silvestris seeds are dried at 4.o ' and with 2,500 g of physiological saline solution four times for 24 hours in the porcelain mill crushed. The cell remains are then filtered through Berkefeld filters or ultrafiltration separated. The now water-white filtrates tend to turn after a few hours Cloudiness. One submits against the freshly filtered extracts, if they are still are clear, an electroosmotic treatment lasting about 24 hours, so become they are much more durable, as apparently mainly phosphates, which are produced by the Osmosis can be removed, causing the cloudiness. The procedure can be repeated be, whereby you get completely clear, very rich and oily, aqueous extracts that are particularly effective.

The extractions are filtered and freed from alkali in a carbonic acid stream at an etivaromm vacuum at the lowest possible temperature. What remains is a pulp, which consists of the extracted substances and the water of the alcohol. This pulp is treated with physiological saline solution in the ratio r: 4, with practically all substances going into solution. If necessary after filtration through the Berkefeld filter, the liquid is subjected to electroosmosis as in the previous example.
