Der Kleiderhalter α ist an einem Gehäuse b angebracht, das mittels Schrauben c an der Wandleiste d befestigt ist. Der obere Teil des Halters dient zum Aufhängen des Hutes, während der untere Teil, der aus einer auseinanderklapp- und verschließbaren Öse besteht, zum Einhängen und Sichern von Mänteln, Jacken o. dgl. benutzt werden kann. Der Halter α ist rinnenförmig nach vorn offen ausgebildet. Unten in dem Halter« ist der mit einem Ansatz e versehene Schließarm e¹ bei f umlegbar gelagert; wohingegen der Aufhängehaken e^z dort festsitzt. Auf dem Aufhängehaken e² ist bei h ein bewegliches Teil g gelagert, welches hinten einen Ansatz i besitzt. In dem Gehäuse ist ein Schloß I angebracht mit einem Schlüsselloch k. Der Schloßriegel m ist durch ein Gestänge η derart mit dem Ansatz e des Schließarmes e¹ verbunden, daß beim Auf- und Zuschließen der Schließarm e¹ umgelegt und gleichzeitig gesichert wird. In dem Gehäuse b ist ferner noch ein Hebel 0 angebracht. Dieser ist bei p beweglich gelagert, besitzt in der Mitte eine Öffnung q für den Ansatz i des Teiles g und wird durch eine Feder r nach oben gedrückt, .in welcher Stellung sich dann das freie Ende o¹ des Hebels 0 innen vor das Schlüsselloch k legt und dadurch das Herausziehen und Mitnehmen des Schlüssels verhindert. Wird dagegen ein Kleidungsstück auf den Aufhängehaken e² gehangen, so senkt sich dessen bewegliches Teil g durch das Gewicht des Kleidungsstückes, hierdurch wird mittels des Ansatzes i auch der Hebel 0 gesenkt, und sein Ende o¹ gibt das Schlüsselloch k frei, so' daß der Schlüssel bei geschlossenem Haken aus dem Schloß / herausgenommen werden kann. Damit aber auch bei geöffnetem Haken der Schlüssel nicht aus dem Schlüsselloche k entfernt werden kann, ist an dem Schloßriegel m unten eine Zunge P- angebracht, die sich beim Aufschließen des Hakens innen vor das Schlüsselloch k legt.Fig. 5 the same in rear view.
