Einrichtung zur elektrischen Ausscheidung von Schwebekörpern aus elektrisch isolierenden, insbesondere gasförmigen lnedien. Bei der elektrischen Abscheidung und Niederschlagung von Schwebekörpern aus elektrisch isolierenden, insbesondere gasförmigen Medien mit Hilfe von Elektrizitätsausströmern (Sprühelektroden) und gegenpoligen Niederschlagselektroden hat man schon vorgeschlagen, die Elektroden in Gruppen anzuordnen und die einzelnen aufeinanderfolgenden Abschnitte derart verschieden voneinander elektrisch einzustellen, daß mit zunehmender Reinheit des Mediums eine stufenweise gesteigerte, von den Sprühelektroden ausgehende Stromdichte auftritt. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß trotz dieser stufenweisen Steigerung der Stromdichte namentlich feinere Schwebeteilchen urabgeschieden bleiben können. Die Erfindung beruht nun auf der Erkenntnis, daß diesem Mangel abgeholfen wird, wenn die Stromdichte in unmittelbarer Nähe der Niederschlagselektrode gegenüber der mittleren Stromdichte in dem betreffenden Behandlungsabschnitt erhöht wird. Aus dieser Erhöhung der Stromdichte in nächster Nachbarschaft der Niederschlagselektrode ergibt sich eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Abscheidung.
