Description
Device for the electrical precipitation of suspended particles Gases or non-conductive liquids. ,. . The invention relates to Formation of electrodes for devices for electrical deposition of Suspended particles from gases or non-conductive liquids. The electrodes should consist of wire crimped transversely to the direction of the electric field. The arrangement of such corrugated wire electrodes has proven itself in many respects Proven to be particularly advantageous. Even the greater stretched length of a wavy one Wire compared to a smooth wire with the same installation length is considered an advantage to watch. It is also easy to use a corrugated wire, especially if it is wavy composed of circular arcs, by temporarily stretching and releasing to free adhering INT precipitation. The individual waves are when the Wire is stretched a little, flattened, and there are transverse forces between the wire Wire and the precipitation cover, causing them to break and fall off will.
When using corrugated wires for the electrodes of both polarities Each electrode consists of a large number of wires, for example in one Frame are clamped. Such a frame electrode is shown in FIG. One of the transverse sides of the frame can be moved so that it can be stretched temporarily of the wires for cleaning. The wires of the electrode are installed in such a way that that their waves run parallel. When electrodes are facing each other the wires advantageously installed in such a way that -the waves of the wires and their attachment points are offset from those of the other electrode. There is then one for the effect the entire precipitation arrangement particularly advantageous structure, as shown in Fig.2 is shown. Fig. 2 shows the view through four electrodes lying one behind the other in the direction of flow of the gas to be cleaned. The gas experiences on passage through these grids very little resistance, very little deflection, and yet every particle comes into un- again and again. indirect proximity of electrical charged electrode wires, whereby the precipitation of the suspended particles is extraordinary is promoted.
