Setting a spectacle lens to be drilled in the drill
the desired distance of the drill hole from the glass edge. Most of them at the moment
The drilling machines used have the distance between the drill hole and the edge of the glass
a micrometer screw set in each case. Here it is of course necessary
that rnan the distance of the hole from the bottom of the glass clamp of the clamp which
is to be used for the glass to be drilled, determined beforehand. Not to mention
the fact that many businesses are not able to determine this level precisely,
and therefore, in the vast majority of cases, boring the same thing out of luck, so this is it
Measuring is always associated with a considerable loss of time.

The subject of the present innovation relates to the setting
of a spectacle lens to be drilled to the desired distance in the drill
of the borehole from the edge of the glass, so that this distance depends on the depth of the clamp, d. i.
according to the distance of the clamp screw from the clamp base, the glass clamp to be used,
is measured using sickle-shaped gauges. The edge of the glass settles
here in a known manner against a suitable one, the removal of the borehole
workpiece stop determined by the edge of the glass. This stop is made by rotation
by means of an eccentric disk about an axis perpendicular to its direction of displacement
an approach or the like. Set. By rotating the eccentric, according to the invention
a sickle-shaped gauge moves that is permanently or interchangeably connected to the eccentric
and whose shape is dimensioned so that its width corresponds to that of the stop in each case
opposite point is the same as the shift of the stop; through this
Shape. the teaching it is possible to put a glass clip or a
corresponding template as an indicator for the correct setting of the stop
to use.
In the exemplary embodiment, for dimensioning the borehole spacing
from the edge of the lens used the lens clip a, which is intended to hold the lens
is. This is pushed over the sickle-shaped gauge h with the eccentric disc
c is firmly connected. The outer curvature of the gauge can match that of the eccentric
collapse
while the inner curvature of the sickle is chosen
that the sickle strength is at the stop opposite your stop when the eccentric rotates
Place is equal to the displacement of the stop e. The eccentric c that
is rotatably mounted in a boom f or the like, is with a circumferential
Provided bead between the two pins d of the workpiece stop
e takes up, and sets the workpiece stop e by rotating around the perpendicular to this
Axis g a. If the eccentric disc c is now rotated until the sickle b with
that point at which it carries the glass clip a, in the direction of the workpiece stop
c, the latter has also increased by the amount as a result of this inevitable guidance
shifted to the depth of the brackets.
