Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine elektrische Stablampe, bei der zwecks Regelung des Strahlenbündels der Lampe die Glühlampe und der Reflektor mittels eines aus dem Lampengehäuse seitlich herausragenden und in dessen Wandung geführten Handgriffes in Richtung der optischen Achse des Reflektors gegeneinander verstellbar sind. Die bekannten Stablampen dieser Art sind verhältnismäßig verwickelt im Aufbau und aus diesem Grunde auch unsicher in der Wirkungsweise. So steht beispielsweise bei einer bekannten Lampe dieser Art der aus dem Lampengehäuse herausragende Griff mit einem Schwenkglied in Verbindung, das sowohl die Verstellung als auch die Einschaltung der Lampe vermittelt. Die Feststellung der Lampe in jeder Lage soll bei dieser bekannten Einrichtung durch das Zusammenwirken von Federn und einer kurvenartigen Ausgestaltung der mit dem Reflektor oder dem Kontaktplättchen der Lampe zusammenarbeitenden Fläche des Schwenkgliedes erhalten werden. Diese Ausbildung hat den Nachteil, daß die Betriebssicherheit sehr leicht dadurch in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden kann, daß die Kraft der Federn infolge häufiger Beanspruchung nachläßt.
