Flasher holder for electric hand lamps u. like
The invention relates to a flasher switch for electric hand lamps and. The like. With a switching element which is mounted by means of an elongated hole on a bolt fastened in the lamp housing so that it can be pivoted about a pivot point and is also longitudinally displaceable, with guide parts being provided in a manner known per se which hold the switching element in different positions or restrict its freedom of movement, which is characterized by a switching lever, one end of which has a nose which presses against a contact spring, and the other end of which carries a cap which is supported against a semi-cylindrical guide housing.
The flasher switch according to the invention enables the execution of three switching operations, u. between firstly the establishment of a permanent contact, secondly the establishment of a momentary contact for flashing signals and thirdly a switch-off position secured against unintentional switching on.
Switching devices have already become known which enable the production of a momentary contact and a permanent contact using a switching element which is both pivotable about a pivot point and also longitudinally displaceable in the radial direction. These known flasher switches are on the one hand quite complicated in structure and therefore not very suitable for mass production, on the other hand they have the disadvantage that they are not secured in the Aussehaltstellung, so that a pressure on the switching element, for. B. when the lamp is stored in the pocket, the lamp can accidentally light up and discharge the battery.
In the case of the flasher switch according to the invention, this inconvenience has been avoided and a solution has been found which is distinguished by its particular simplicity, small number of components and easy assembly.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. Fig. 1 is an elevation of the switch in the switched-off position, partially in section, Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 shows the position of the switch lever with permanent contact and Fig. 4 is a plan view of the Switch.
The switching lever 1 is attached to the housing 3 of the hand lamp, both rotatable about the bolt 2 and also displaceable on it in the radial direction. The longitudinal mobility is achieved in that the bolt 2 forming the pivot point is passed through an elongated hole 4 in the shift lever 1; but the bolt 2 could also be firmly connected to the lever and therefore have freedom of movement with respect to the housing. The shift lever 1 is supported with its lower end against the spring J, while the upper end carries a cap 6 which slides along the semi-cylindrical guide housing 7 and is encompassed and guided by the slide 8-.
The guide housing 7 is fastened on the underside of the lamp housing 3 and carries several catches 9 into which corresponding lugs 9 ′ of the slide 8 snap and fix the slide or the switching lever in the various switching positions. The slide 8 surrounds the housing 7 in a U-shape and is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner through two grooves 10, 70 '. If the switching lever 7 is moved to the left, the nose 11 pushes the spring 5 downwards (as can be seen in FIG. 3) and establishes the permanent contact. In order to achieve reliable contact, the spring 5 is made in two parts by providing a resilient arm 12 that is bent slightly downwards, which rests on a live part of the lamp housing, e.g. B. to the reflector cap 1. 3 takes place.
The spring J is attached to the housing side wall and at the same time designed as a contact 14 for a battery terminal. When the switch lever is in the vertical position (rest position), the contact is interrupted

The cap 6 comes to rest over an extension 16 of the slot 15 in the guide housing 7 and the lever can also be displaced in its longitudinal direction by pressing on the cap 6, the bolt 2 sliding upwards in the elongated hole 4 . The spring 5 holds the lever 1 in the switched-off position, but by pressing the cap 6 downwards, contact can be made for a shorter or longer period of time to emit flashing signals.
In the position moved to the right, the switch acts as a momentary contact. The slider 8 is designed in such a way that it causes a certain fixation of the switching lever in the individual switching positions, but does not hinder the radial movement of the lever. It encompasses the cap 6 with a bent-up edge 17 so that it can only move laterally at the same time as the slide 8, whereas it can

Components of the switch can be made in the simplest possible way from metal (sheet metal) or other suitable material and can be easily assembled.
