Description
Thread guides for machines for the production of a mesh-like product with intertwined warp and weft threads. The invention relates to a thread guide for machines for the production of a mesh-like product, which loops to form allowed, which consist of one or more warp threads, in which loops of weft threads, be it mechanically, * be it by hand, by means of a shuttle or Hook etc. are introduced.
With respect to the known ones used for such machines Thread guides in which the warp and the weft thread up to the formation of the stitch held together «-erden, the thread guide according to the invention is characterized by this from that he, consisting of a flat metal plate, on the front part for the purpose of guidance the mesh is provided with an open slit at the front and a cutout at the back has, which preferably has a horizontal part at the top and an inclined part at the bottom leads upwards, while below the cutout two or more Holes are provided for the purpose of threading the chain thread or threads.
This particular training allows the chain against working parts to protect, which are used for the passage of the weft, since the The exit slot for the latter in the thread guide is so narrow that the slot after the formation of the stitch has taken place, the stitch is just passed through allowed.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise. The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, for example.

The thread guide consists of a metal plate i, in the front Part of a section a is provided, which for the passage of the weft thread 3 and of the rifleman who carries him. The horizontal part q. of the cutout is used on the one hand to close off the space above the weft thread so that it does not can emerge from its path, and on the other hand, to the warp thread or threads protection. Except through the horizontal part q. the section is still through the oblique part 6 delimited, which allows the weft enters the horizontal exit or slot 7 through which the weft thread is performed until the mesh is completely formed. 8 and 9 are holes for pushing through of the warp thread 5; the number of these can be increased at will. According to Fig. I can be seen that the distance between the hole 8 and the outermost point io of the thread guide is slightly larger than the distance between the hole 8 and the rear point i i. In this way it is possible that the stitch formed after ' is carried forward backwards to point i i to form a new stitch to enable, and that the finished stitch is not on the rear edge 1a of the Fuehrer's and especially not come into contact with Putict ii. These Arrangement, however, is not absolutely necessary, and you can use the front part of the thread guide train so that the distance from 8 to io is approximately equal to the distance from 8 to ii. In this case, however, the completed stitch must be before the point io, i. H. more to the front, so that the distance of the mesh from the point 8 is greater than the distance between point 8 and point i i.
A stitch is made in the following way: According to Fig. ¢ is the chain thread 5, which is from a chain thread roll, a bobbin or the like comes and handled automatically by means of a driver roller or to the extent of the Meshing is peeled off, pushed through the hole 9, then occurs the other side of the guide upwards and opens again through hole 8 the side of the Führer on which he entered. According to Fig. 5 it can be seen that a loop is pre-formed, and that it has an approximately triangular shape. As soon as the chain thread 1q. has assumed this position, the weft 3 introduced in the middle of this loop by means of a gate, etc., mechanically or by hand. Now the end becomes 1q. of the chain thread through a suitable device pivoted around the curved part of the thread guide, its Radius; with point 15 as the center, gradually decreasing to your point io. In Fig.6 it can be seen that the loop formed by the chain thread extends over has closed the weft 3 even more. In Fig.7 it can be seen that the The loop is completely closed and that it is together with the weft 3 was carried forward on the inclined guide 6. Fig. 8 shows the finished one Stitch with the weft in the exit 7, while the stitch and the weft walk forward on surface 16 to get to the position shown in Fig. 9. In the end the stitch comes to point io (fig. io); it is now fully formed and located outside of the thread guide. During the formation and adjustment of the mesh - the chain thread unwinds from the chain roller long enough to allow the loop leaves the position of Fig. io and comes into position nVh Fig. i i. In figs 8, 9, io it should be noted that the previous loop 17 almost exactly matches the curve of the thread guide describes which is contained between points 18 and io. As a means to the weft 3 forward, d. H. outside of the thread guide to push, a comb is used, which is driven by any suitable device.
According to Fig. I i it can be seen that the warp thread 5 after the stitch formation goes backwards to see the position according to @Fig. 1a to the position according to Fig. 13 come, which latter corresponds to the one in Figure 5, i.e. H. where the loop formed is. Another weft thread can now be inserted, etc.
From Fig. 1q. it can be seen that in one and the same thread guide two warp threads 5 inserted into the hole 9 from one side and the other can be so that the warp threads run on both sides of the thread guide. With the same movements and with one and the same thread guide one gets so two loops or two twists at the same time around the same weft, one on the right and the other on the left.
The thread guide also allows the chain thread 5 according to FIG. In this way it is possible to obtain stitches whose twist is the opposite of the other, that is, regular. This advancement is done by hand or with a needle, etc. Fig. 16 shows the second stage in which the advanced chain thread is led downwards and backwards, and Fig. 17 shows that the chain thread moves backwards to close the loop has, where the. Chain thread on the opposite side v to that on which it was inserted. The weft thread 3 is then introduced, etc .; In this way, stitches can be inserted between the regularly formed stitches, the twisting of which is effected in the opposite sense.
Fig. 18 and 19 show regularly formed stitches, ie according to the work stages according to Fig. 4. to 13, while Fig. 2o and 2r show the course of the threads after the release. Fig. 22 shows the meshes according to Fig. 1 5 to 17 in a mixture with the regularly formed meshes. Fig. 23 shows the course of the threads when the stitches in Fig. 2a are left free. The stitches can be alternated with the regular ones in such a way that a regular one is an irregular one, or the stitches can be alternated in groups.
Figure 24 shows an embodiment of the thread guide, in which part is left out above the cutout and the slot.
The thread guides according to the invention are side by side in width of the knitted fabric to be produced lined up.
