Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Fassungen für Illusionslampen, die sogenannten Soffittenfassungen. The invention relates to sockets for illusion lamps, the so-called soffit sockets.

Die bisher bekannten Fassungen dieser Art bestehen aus zwei Teilen, dem Sockel und dem Deckel, die sich beide vollständig voneinander trennen lassen. Nun'ist es schon oft vorgekommen, daß der abgenommene Deckel zerbrach oder verlorenging und so die ganze Fassung unbrauchbar wurde. Ferner ist bei den bekannten Ausführungen erst durch Aufstecken des Deckels eine Abdeckung aller blanken spannungführenden Teile erreicht und die Gefahr ihrer unbeabsichtigten Berührung abgewendet. Aber selbst wenn der Deckel geschlossen ist, sind bei den Fassungen gewöhnlicher Art, wenn diese nur eine Lampe enthalten, z. B. am Ende einer Reihe, unter Spannung stehende Teile noch erreichbar, welche durch die Berührung Erdschluß herstellen und dadurch gefährlich werden können.The previously known versions of this type consist of two parts, the base and the lid, both of which can be completely separated from each other. Alle diese Mängel werden durch die vorliegende Erfindung behoben. Zunächst einmal sind Deckel und Sockel nach Art eines Kastens durch ein Gelenk oder ein Scharnier untrennbar verbunden. Der Deckel kann also nicht verlorengehen. Die Drehbewegung des Deckels beim Öffnen und Schließen wird dazu benutzt, eine Xocke so zu bewegen, daß sie beim Öffnen den Stromkreislauf unterbricht und beim Schließen wieder herstellt. Damit ist also in einfachster Weise erreicht, daß die geöffnete Fassung mit herumgelegtem Deckel stromlos ist. Ferner gestattet die neue Fassung bei Verwendung nur einer Lampe die offene Seite durch eine Scheibe oder einen Körper aus isolierendem Material zu verschließen. Auch die Schraubenklemme ist insofern verändert, als sie in bekannter Weise einen offenen Schlitz von geringerer Breite als die des Klemmschraubenkerndurchmessers besitzt. In diesen Schlitz kann nach Entfernung der Klemmschraube der Leitungsdraht eingelegt und wieder daraus entfernt werden.All of these deficiencies are remedied by the present invention. In den Abb. 1 bis 3 bezeichnet α den Sockel und b die Achse, durch die der Deckel c mit dem Sockel verbunden ist.
