Die Erfindung betrifft eine besondere Art der Befestigung künstlicher Zähne an der
Rückenplatte mittels Stegverbindung. Das Wesen der Erfindung liegt darin, daß der
die Form eines Kastens, Vierkants o. dgl. aufweisende, durch Löten usf. mit der
Rückenplatte verbundene Steg an einer oder an mehreren Seitenflächen Zacken von
zweckmäßig dreieckigem oder ähnlichem Querschnitt hat, die federnd auswärts abspreizend
sich an den Rand der in die Unterschneidung übergehenden Aussparung des Zahnes zu
legen und somit eine wirksame Abstützung in jener Unterschneidung sowie eine sichere
Verankerung des aufgedrückten, fertigen Zahnes herbeizuführen vermögen. Hierbei
unterstützt die an sich bekannte Zementfüllung die Spreizung der Zacken während

Der Steg f wird in geeigneter Weise, beispielsweise durch Auflöten, mit der Rückenplatte
d verbunden, kann aber mit ihr auch aus einem Stück bestehen, und mehrere der Stegseitenflächen,
beim gewählten Ausführungsbeispiel zwei, weisen in Spitzen verlaufende Einschnitte
auf. Jene Spitzen werden nach auswärts gebogen, so daß sie federnde Zacken g bilden,
die wohl ein Hinauf drücken des fertigen Zahnes a in der Richtung
des
Pfeiles x (vgl. Abb. 6) zulassen, nicht aber ein Abnehmen vom Stege f. Wie aus Abb.6
ersichtlich ist, streichen beim Aufdrücken des künstlichen Zahnes a die Zacken g
zunächst an den Wänden 1a entlang, spreizen sich aber infolge ihrer Elastizität
sofort, sobald sie in die Unterschneidung c des Hohlraumes b gelangen. Von diesem
Zeitpunkte an ist ein Abnehmen des Zahnes a, entgegen dem Widerstande der Zacken
g, nicht mehr möglich, infolge der Vierkant-oder sonstigen bestimmten Form des Steges
f aber auch ein Wackeln oder ähnliches seitliches Hinundherbewegen des Zahnes a
ausgeschlossen. Wie bekannt, wird der noch verbleibende Zwischenraum mit Zement
ausgefüllt, und auch diese Füllung unterstützt die Spreizbewegung und damit den
Widerstand der Zacken An die eine Seite der Rückenplatte d kann ein sogenannter
Zahnhöcker k angesetzt werden, ohne daß die Gefahr eines späteren Platzens des beim
Ansetzvorgange stark erwärmten Teils bestehen bleibt; infolge des durch den Kasten
