Bekanntlieh gewinnen Photographie-Albums durch die Einlagen stets an Umfang, so dafs sich dieselben endlich mit gewöhnlichen Schlössern ohne Beschädigung der Einbanddecken nicht mehr schliefsen lassen. Man hat deshalb schon die verschiedensten Schlösser angewendet, welche nach Mafsgabe des Stärkerwerdens des Albums verstellbar sind. Ein solches ist auch das zu beschreibende Schlofs, welches neben seiner Verstellbarkeit noch den nicht zu unterschätzenden Vortheil hat, dafs es federt. Diese Eigenschaft macht es unnöthig, zum Zweck des Verschlusses die Einbanddecken fest zusammenzudrücken, da das Schlofs selbst, soweit dieses zur Schonung der Decken erforderlich ist, nachgiebt, ohne dafs hierdurch im Mindesten die Sicherheit des Verschlusses verliert.As is well known, photography albums always increase in size due to the deposits, so that they can finally be found with ordinary locks without damaging the covers do not let sleep any more.
