Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Erzielung großer Trägheits- und '\Viderstandsmomente von Gußkörpern, wie solche im Maschinenbau zur Anwendung gelangen. Wie bekannt, ist die Anbringung von Durchbrechungen in den Wänden von gegossenen Hohlkörpern unb =-dingt erforderlich, sei es, daß solche Durchbrechungen als Kernlöcher zur Anbringung von Kernstützen, als Kernlöcher zum nachträglichen Entfernen des Kernes oder auch als Luftlöcher zum Abziehen der sich während des Gusses bildenden Gase ausgebildet sind. Diese .Durchbrechungen in den Gußwänden bilden mehr oder minder eine Schwächung des Hohlkörpers und machen sich besonders dann bemerkbar, wenn die Körper auf Biegung, Verdrehung, Biegung und Verdrehung oder in anderer Weise beansprucht werden. Bei der Ausübung des Verfahrens ist es gleichgültig und hat auf die vorliegende Erfindung keine Einwirkung, ob das Füllstück die gleiche Materialzusammensetzung zeigt wie der Gußkörper selbst oder ob im Interesse der leichten Schweißbarkeit eine andre Zusammensetzung gewählt wird. Ferner ist es ohne Belang, wie die Art der Schweißung, ob elektrisch oder autogen, vorgenommen wird. Weiterhin können die Schweißkanten beliebig ausgeführt sein, d. h. das Einlagestück kann beispielsweise mit dem Gußkörper stumpf verschweißt werden, oder es kann auch die Schweißnaht schwalbenschwanzförmig vorgearbeitet sein, ohne an der Erfindung etwas zu ändern.The purpose of the present invention is to measure the moments of inertia and resistance to increase the casting.
