Description
Dreitrommel-Steilrohrkessel. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dreitrommel-Steilrohrkessel mit einer unteren und zwei oberen Trommeln, die untereinander durch Rohrbündel verbunden sind und von denen die vordere Obertrommel mit einem Kammerfortsatz versehen ist. An sich ist die Anordnung eines Kammerfortsatzes bekannt. Das Neue an diesem Kessel besteht darin, daß die von den beiden anderen Trommeln kommenden Rohrbündel an den Kammerfortsatz der vorderen Obertrommel angeschlossen sind. Auf diese Weise ist die vordere Obertrommel aus dem Umlaufstromkreis ausgeschaltet, so daß in dieser eine möglichst ruhige Wasseroberfläche und ein trockener Dampf erzielt wird.Three-drum vertical tube boiler. Die Durchbrechungen der Kesselwand sind in an sich bekannter Weise durch zwischenliegende Stege voneinander getrennt, wodurch die Festigkeit der Kesselwand erhalten bleibt, während gleichzeitig zwischen den aneinanderstoßenden Teilen ein Durchlaß von großem Querschnitt gebildet wird, durch den das Wasser hindurchtreten kann, ohne daß eine zu starke Strömung eintritt.The drums 15 and 16 are connected by several rows of tubes 18.
