Description

Process for the biological purification of water and waste water in one with mechanically generated water circulation and compressed air working ventilation basin.

It is known that sewage can be cleaned duych - aeration. In Dentschland, this treatment process is called sludge revitalization. The procedure is used in two fundamentally different forms, which differ in that in one case artificially generated compressed air is used for ventilation, while in the other case it is pure surface ventilation. In surface ventilation the water is circulated with mechanical devices such as paddles, agitators, etc., so that the constantly renewing water surface oxygen from the atmospheric Absorbs air. This process has the disadvantage compared to the compressed air process that the cleaning of the sewage takes significantly more time, because the oxygen absorption is imperfect at the surface of the water. According to the present invention this should Disadvantage compensated by the introduction of additional compressed air and this in one place are introduced where the upward vertical natural buoyancy of the Air bubbles counteract the circulating flow of the water so that the air bubbles flow be diverted entirely or partially by the flow of water and forced to a to take another way to the surface of the water. This way the air stays longer in contact with the water.

One possible application of the process is shown in the accompanying drawing shown. Herein, a means the basin, that of the water to be treated or Wastewater is flowing through continuously or intermittently; b is one in the longitudinal direction attached to the pelvis, provided with wings c, rotating in the direction of the arrow Wave; At d, finely divided atmospheric air is perforated through filter plates Pipes or other porous devices pressed in.

By rotating the shaft b in the direction of the arrow, the content of the Pelvis is also set in motion in the direction of the arrow, d. H. circulated. Of the Circulating flow absorbs the air injected at d, so that it passes to the immediate Escape in the vertical direction is prevented. In addition, the air from the vanes c 'attached to the blades c are taken along. For further assistance the intimate mixing of the basin contents with the introduced air can also the wings consist of sieve-like material In this way it is achieved that the - air bubbles remain in contact with the pelvic contents for a longer period of time, as a result of which the oxygen uptake is particularly favorably supported.

Naturally, pure oxygen can take the place of atmospheric air or gases or liquids containing oxygen can be used.

The insertion point can also be arranged in any way. Likewise, the wings can c any, z. B. have shovel-like shapes, and the Wave b can be either centric or eccentric or transverse to the longitudinal direction of the Pelvis.
