Zweitakt-Brennkraftmaschine mit luftgekühltem Zylinder. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Zweitakt-Brennkraftmaschine mit luftgekühlten Zylindern. Dieser Nachteil wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch behoben, daß die Spülluft oberhalb des Zylinderdeckels eintritt und durch Öffnungen der Wandung des als Hohlkörper ausgebildeten Zylinderdeckels in den Kühlmantel zum unteren Zylinderende streicht. Es findet auf diese Weise eine ständige Kühlung des Zylinderdeckels an der Lagerstelle desselben statt.
