Die Isolierung von Drähten, insbesondere Feinkupferdrähten, durch ein in flüssigem Zustande aufgetragenes Isoliermittel, z. B. Lack, geschieht in der Weise, daß der mit dem Lacküberzug versehene Draht durch einen erwärmten Schacht geleitet wird und dadurch der Lack, indem das Lösungsmittel verflüchtigt wird, zur Trocknung gelangt. Während man früher senkrechte Schächte benutzte, ist man in neuerer Zeit zur Verwendung wagerechter Schächte übergegangen. Diese lassen sich nämlich billiger beheizen und bequemer handhaben, besitzen jedoch den Nachteil, daß die Wärme in ihnen stagniert und das Lösungsmittel ohne besondere Absaugevorrichtung nicht so schnell, wie es für den Trocknungsprozeß wünschenswert ist, abgeleitet werden kann. Es ist nämlich für einen günstigen Verlauf des Trocknungsprozesses von Vorteil, daß sich die Drähte stets in einem Luftraume befinden, der frei von Lösungsmitteldämpfen ist.Device for drying wires when using a liquid Condition of applied isolating agent.
