Bei Handstickrahmen wird der Stoff in der Regel an Streifen, die sich an gegenüberliegenden Leisten des Rahmens befinden, angenäht, was beim Wechsel des zu bestickenden Stoffes viel Zeit beansprucht. Man hat daher schon vorgeschlagen, den Stoff durch Klemmleisten zu halten, wobei auch diese Klemmleisten zum besseren Halten des Stoffes keilförmig ineinandergreifen und eine derselben mit Spitzen versehen ist, die den Stoff durchbohren und halten sollen.
