Die Schaufelplatte A ist aus zwei oder mehreren Lagen Fournieren hergestellt. Diese werden, während sie in die betreffende Form gebogen oder geprefst sind, so zusammengeleimt oder sonstwie zusammen befestigt, dafs die Faserrichtung des einen Fourniers quer zu den Fasern des nächstfolgenden Fourniers läuft. Auf diese Weise wird eine dauerhafte, starke und verhältnifsmäfsig billige Schaufel hergestellt, welche in den meisten Fällen dem Zwecke besser entspricht, als eine metallene Schaufel.The blade plate A is made of two or more layers of fournier.
